Bryce Canyon

We went to Bryce Canyon National Park today.  To be honest with you after seeing the Grand Canyon and Zion I did not think that this would be impressive.  I WAS SO WRONG!  This was completely different and just as beautiful as anything else I have marveled at this trip.

We took the shuttle into the park and went to the Visitors Center.  We watched a movie about how the rock formations they call hoodoos and windows were formed.  Then we went through the museum and learned more about the history of the park.

After that we took the shuttle to the various look out points to take pictures and marvel at what we were seeing.  At one of the stops we saw the cutest chipmunk who was literally begging for food.  She was adorable, we got some cute pictures of her too (we think she was pregnant).

We went to the Bryce Canyon Lodge for lunch.  They had a wonderful selection of gluten free food.  Everything was yummy.  We were lucky enough to get a window seat so we could enjoy the views there as well.

We wish we could have stayed at the park longer but we had a 5 hour drive to the next campground, so after lunch we went back to the car and began our drive.

Now we are once again enjoying dinner and relaxation time in the camper before we go to sleep and prepare for tomorrow's adventures.   Caves and floating are on the agenda~ should be fun!!!

The campground here has good WiFi so I will add pictures to yesterdays post.
